New Park and Promenade Open Near Wills Wharf
Wills Park is now open for public use! Accessible from Wills and Point Streets, Wills Park features a courtyard that connects Wills Wharf, Thames Street Wharf, and 1405 Point before stepping down to the waterfront promenade, providing a unique way to relax and take in views of the harbor and the iconic Domino Sugar factory. The section of the waterfront promenade extending from Thames Street Wharf to Wills Wharf has also been reopened and is available for public use.
“On behalf of Beatty Development Group and our longtime partners at Armada Hoffler, we are extremely excited to see the vision for Wills Park come to fruition at Harbor Point,” said Jonathan Flesher, Vice President of Development, Beatty Development Group. “Wills Park builds on the success of the nearby Central Plaza and showcases the increased importance of public parks and green spaces in today’s world as places to relax and rejuvenate.”
Harbor Point’s most defining feature is its network of waterfront open spaces, creating a truly one-of-a-kind neighborhood unlike any other in Baltimore. When Harbor Point is fully complete, 9.5 acres of the 27-acre site will feature a diverse mix of green space, walkways, and public art, all combining to create a welcoming environment to relax, socialize, and play.
