RBC Wealth Management Relocating to Wills Wharf

Beatty Development Group and Armada Hoffler Properties announced today that RBC Wealth Management has signed an office lease at Wills Wharf, the waterfront office and hotel at Harbor Point. The firm is tentatively planning to relocate from its current location at 100 Light Street to its new Harbor Point space in October 2021. RBC Wealth Management will occupy a portion of the second floor, approximately 5,911 SF.

“Moving RBC Wealth Management’s Baltimore office to Wills Wharf provides us with more opportunity for growth, as well as a premier, centralized location to offer better access and an even greater level of client service to our growing client base,” said Mike Crowell, Baltimore complex director at RBC Wealth Management.

“We’re excited to welcome RBC Wealth Management to Wills Wharf,” said Michael Beatty, President, Beatty Development Group. “Wills Wharf is shaping up to be one of the premier office locations in the city, an ideal spot for companies with expansion plans. We’re pleased to see RBC Wealth Management continue their commitment to Baltimore and grow at Harbor Point.”

Standing at 12 stories and sitting directly on the water’s edge, Wills Wharf is a 330,000 square foot mixed-use building with 236,000 square feet of Class A office space. The building is more than 50% leased, with a tenant mix that includes recently announced Transamerica, as well as Jellyfish, EY, and Bright Horizons. The 156-room Canopy by Hilton Baltimore Harbor Point hotel occupies the top four floors of the building with a first-floor lobby. The first-floor hotel space also includes Cindy Lou’s Fish House, the latest offering from the award-winning Foreman Wolf restaurant group.

Located along Baltimore’s scenic waterfront between Harbor East and historic Fell’s Point, Harbor Point is a 27-acre mixed-use project with a planned three million square feet of office, retail, residential and hotel uses, as well as 9.5 acres of open space.

JLL’s Rob Freedman and Peter Jackson represented the landlord, Armada Hoffler Properties, in the transaction; John Betsill and Stuart Rienhoff with Cushman & Wakefield represented RBC Wealth Management.
