Sandlot to Return as an Event Venue in 2023

The popular waterfront beach bar takes on a new format for its seventh season at Harbor Point.

Sandlot will be reopening at Harbor Point this summer, albeit in a limited capacity, in an announcement made today by Beatty Development Group. The sandy outdoor spot will transition to a more intimate event venue for 2023. The venue will be managed by Canopy by Hilton Baltimore | Harbor Point and will begin accepting inquiries starting on May 9, 2023.

While Sandlot will primarily be used for private events, several large public events are being planned throughout the summer to celebrate Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. More details about these holiday events will be announced soon on Sandlot’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. Additional public events could potentially be added as the season progresses.

The shift to a more streamlined event venue is necessary due to continued changes to the surrounding area. Sandlot is still ultimately a temporary addition to Harbor Point while Phase III of development is underway. Phase III includes the construction of T. Rowe Price’s Global Headquarters as well as Point Park, a 4.5-acre waterfront open space being constructed where Sandlot had previously been located.
