Charm City Poke & Mochi Arriving Fall 2023 at Harbor Point

Inspired by the cuisine of the Hawaiian islands, Charm City Poke & Mochi will feature an expansive menu of healthy options.

Charm City Poke & Mochi will make its debut this Fall 2023 in the Constellation Building, according to Beatty Development Group and Armada Hoffer in a joint announcement made today.

The grab-and-go concept from local restaurateur Na Yi will lease 466 square feet of space at 1308 Point Street. Charm City Poke & Mochi will feature healthy made-to-order poke bowls using fresh ingredients, as well as an expansive menu that includes steamed buns, steamed dumplings, ramen, and sushi rolls. Many of the menu items will be vegetarian and gluten-free. Also making their way to the new Harbor Point location are Ni’s popular mochi donuts. Made with low-gluten rice flour, Charm City Poke & Mochi will sell matcha, mango, strawberry, purple ube, and chocolate flavors, with options for customization.

“Healthy food shouldn’t be boring,” said Na Yi, Owner, Charm City Poke & Mochi. “We’ve got something unique to bring to the table at Harbor Point. We’re excited to get to work serving up dishes that are fun, nutritious, and packed with flavor.”

The menu at Charm City Poke & Mochi will be largely inspired by Yi’s travels to the Hawaiian Islands. Poke (pronounced POH-keh) is a traditional Hawaiian salad that is topped with cubes of marinated sushi-grade fish. The base is a mix of layered greens that can include seaweed salad, cilantro, green onion, edamame, avocado, and more. Customers at Charm City Poke & Mochi will be able to choose items from the menu or build their own custom creations. Catering will also be available.

“We’re excited to partner with Na as she brings her Charm City Poke & Mochi concept to life at Harbor Point,” said Michael Beatty, President, Beatty Development Group. “This is a great fit for our growing neighborhood, a fresh and healthy dining option that fills a unique need both here and in the larger community.”

Charm City Poke & Mochi joins a growing portfolio of retail tenants at the Constellation Building (formerly the Exelon Building). In addition to the recently announced Sartori (opening Fall 2024) the tenant mix also includes west elm, Ceremony Coffee Roasters, honeygrow, Breathing Dragon Yoga, Inspire Nail Bar & Spa, and Resistance Cycle. Opened in 2016 at Harbor Point, the Constellation Building serves as the headquarters of Constellation Energy and a regional office for the Exelon Corporation. Located at 1310 Point Street, the mixed-use building also includes 40,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level, the 103 residences of 1305 Dock Street, and a 750-car parking garage.

Located along Baltimore’s scenic waterfront between Harbor East and Fell’s Point, Harbor Point is a 27-acre mixed-use neighborhood with a planned three million square feet of office, retail, residential, and hotel uses, as well as 9.5 acres of open space.

Jeff Bach and Ana Henrich of JLL represented the landlord, Armada Hoffler, in the transaction. Tim Harrington of MacKenzie Retail represented the tenant.
