Plantbar Coming Soon to the Exelon Building
Beatty Development Group has announced today that Plantbar will be opening a new location at Harbor Point, the growing waterfront neighborhood located between Harbor East and Fell’s Point.
Scheduled for a tentative opening this fall, Plantbar will lease space inside the Exelon Building at 1308 Point Street, directly across from Harbor Point’s Central Plaza. The Baltimore-grown juice bar and raw foods café uses fresh ingredients to create made-to-order and bottled cold-pressed juices, as well as foods that support the vegan, paleo, gluten-free, and raw community of Harbor Point. Plantbar also offers wellness elixirs and smoothie bowls to achieve its goal of a “vibrant balance within the body” for each of their customers. This will be a second location for Plantbar, currently inside of the Belvedere Square Market.
“We’ve had a crush on Harbor Point for a while for a second location,” said Daniela Troia, Executive Chef and Founder of Plantbar. “We really feel the community speaks our language and it already feels like home to us. We expect the Central Plaza outside our doors to be a focal point of this whole community, and we are elated to be part of it all.”
“Our retail and restaurant offerings at Harbor Point are going to keep expanding, but you can already see a pattern developing, where we have placed an emphasis on supporting local restaurateurs and local sourcing,” said Michael Beatty, President of Beatty Development Group. “Not only is Plantbar a delicious and healthy new option that we’re excited to bring to Harbor Point, but it’s 100% ‘homegrown’ right here in Baltimore.”
Opened in 2016, the Exelon Building is the Exelon Corporation’s regional office and the headquarters of its Constellation business unit. The mixed-use project includes 40,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level. Plantbar is the newest retail tenant for the Exelon Building, joining the previously opened Ceremony Coffee Roasters, Honeygrow, CorePower Yoga and West Elm.
